Grandkids for some summer fun...

Another great thing about summer is having the grandcritters...This summer I was able to have Madelyn and Avery a few times. I kept them for a few weeks after baby Ty was born and then a week while Lila and Travis went to Hawaii. We always have a good time and they keep me running while they are here.
This summer we visited the Tree House in Ogden.

Treehouse Museum is a nonprofit educationalorganization whose mission is to be the magical place where children and families
"Step Into a Story."

We also made a trip to the Zoo...this is always a fun get away...I think my favorite thing to do and see was the Bird Show.

The Meadow Gold World of Flight Bird Show is one of the Zoo's most popular attraction with thousands of our visitors enjoying this spectacular free-flight bird demonstration each summer season. The show features eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, parrots often flying directly over the heads of the audience during the 25-minute presentation. The show also offers several opportunities for audience participation and afterwards guests can get up close and personal with some of the birds and their trainers. One of the stars of the show is a magnificent Steller’s Sea Eagle — the third-largest eagle in the world!

Avery's favorite are these little guys...

I took Heidi and Jaxson with us...we had a pretty fun time. I think this picture is a cute behind the scenes shot!!!
