Easter 2008 Elliott Style...

This year was Brent and I's first Easter married. Last year we were dating but we spent Easter apart trying to divide and conquer the many task of moving, working, mission plans as well as wedding plans!!! We got to enjoy visiting with most everyone... There are now nine kids between us and five grandchildren. As the days pass the two of us realize what a huge family (blessing) we now have.

Friday before Easter Sunday we headed to Cedar City, Utah to spend a few days with Shelley and David. Lila had already headed that direction Friday morning to enjoy some shopping time in St. George. Travis was planning on coming up but there is no TV cable at Shelley's house for him to enjoy the March Madness games. We missed him but in the future we will plan better and get the stuff needed for his games!!!

After a huge Saturday morning breakfast with french toast, waffles, fresh strawberries, bananas, let's just say it was delicious; the weather was perfect to head up Cedar Canyon for a play day in the snow. We then enjoyed more food; barbecued hamburgers with my relish..(this is a must these days). David and Shelley had this great idea to go snowmobiling...it was a blast despite the fact I wrecked a few times, burned my finger, hit a tree, and was saved (thank you David) from a rolling snow mobile...all in all it turned out to be a very fun day. We retired from our fun and went to eat yes to eat again, at the Pizza Factory. Then we played a fun game of Cash Flow...I WON!!!

Sunday morning we headed back to Farmington as we had yet a few more family members to fit in to this busy but fun weekend. Sunday night a few of Brent's kids came over...the pictures below explain it all. We enjoyed watching Matt's playfulness with the grandkids. I have to say all of our daughters have chosen great spouses...
To finish off the day I recieve a great letter from Kyle who is serving his mission in Figi. This is a huge, fun and great family to be in!!!
