My favortive things....to do...

Brent and I have now been married for a YEAR!!! I love you Brent!!!

Me and little Madelyn...

A future artist in the making...
Avery loves animal critters...
Our works....

Well I got to use the rest of my Christmas present this past ten days...a trip to Las Vegas to visit, play and work!!! So far my trips to Las Vegas have turned into working trips and tax write offs. Perhaps I will see the rewards later as of now I have not sold anything just contacted people, checked on rents, renewed my licenced, get acquainted again with the market.

I did get some times in with the Grand kids, and most important I got to see Lila (My daughter) perform in the play Savior of the World. I got to attend two times, the first time I took Avery Mae to the dress rehearsal. As soon as the play started I felt the strong surrounding of the spirit. If it had not gotten cold and I had Avery Mae I think I could have stayed there all night pondering deep in thought.

The second time I went the theater was full...the spirit was there also; nothing though like I felt prior. The play was awesome! A lady sitting in front of me made the comment that she lived in the Salt Lake area and this play was much better!!! Way to go Las Vegas. It is amazing the difference the spirit can touch when we allow it to work through us instead of promoting ourselves.

One thing I am reluctant to speak of but if you know me I pretty much speak what I feel. The second night I attended Lila's father and his wife also attended. They had come the night before and wanted to take some more pictures so they attended again. We happen to be arriving about the same time and I had a few tickets left over. They ask if I had some and I was taken back, yes I did but my thoughts and words were what makes you think I want to be sitting near you. Of course I did hand him my extra tickets. The point I am pondering is how do they make it seem so easy? Meaning simply this...My marriage to Brent is great; I love him, I adore him, but marriage does not come easy even the second time around. It is a whole lot of work, different views, different family values, and baggage of ex spouses dropping the ball!!! I work hard at it, I pray about it, I deeply care about what goes on and it's not just about me. It is about a whole family. On the other end though...on the outside watching in they including Brent's ex make it look easy!!!

Last month I got to go see my Shelley perform on stage; woman's body building. She looks great!!! I was and I am very proud of her and David. My I have such a gorgeous family...

Hi Georgie - are you back in town? I've missed you! My thoughts to your blog entry, "things aren't always as they seem..... - people can put on a good front!" I love your honesty and frankness! Life is hard - and marriage is hard! And we have to work at it constantly! So if it seems "easy" to some people, just remember - we don't know what is going on behind closed doors..... Call me when you get back to town! Love, Julie

I wish we could of made it to the play. It sounds like it was amazing even if you had to sit next to your ex. :)

Those cupcakes are really cute!
