This year Brent took on the garden, thank you Max and Norm...it has been fun for him. We have planted watermelon, cantelope, and pumpkins. Yes, we are growing pumpkins for the grandcritters. So far tho we have enjoyed peas, carrots, beets, and tomatoes...We will have corn soon...
It seems as if this summer has flew by...I want to quiclky catch up on the events that have happened since the beginning of summer.
1st... The end of June I went to Las Vegas to pick up Avery and Madelyn...we had a fun 2 weeks together. I regret not taking pictures!!! Everyday was a adventure, we had two lunches and ice cream for dinner. This is what Avery and I planned on to make mom and dad worry while they were away in Hawaii. Anyway we enjoyed Lagoon a few times, lots of neighborhood girls to play with, swimming, movies, treats..treats and more treats!!!
We spent the July 4th at my father's in Ely. There we enjoyed additional family members, food and fireworks.
July 1, we lost Grandma Elliott. That was sad, at the same time there was joy, as we know she's in a greater place. July 7th, we had her funeral...this was one great, fine lady, who had lots of friends. She lefted her mark, kindness, service, wonderful mother, great friend, beautiful wife, grandma, and great grandma, loved by all; she will be missed!!!
So for the rest of July...well we have enjoyed the heat, especially since our new air conditioner is working great!!!
July 24th, more food, grandkids and tea parties, fireworks, an overnight outing on the trampoline, Brents pepsi and mento's explosion...The best was the Elliott baseball game!!!
